After the raving reviews of the Inaugural Wing and Dessert Battle we would like to invite you to join us again to enjoy the aromas of barbecued chicken wings, sweet desserts, additional bites, craft beers, fine wines, seasonal spirits and live entertainment at Sanborn Square Park in downtown Boca Raton, FL on Saturday, February 18th, 2023 for the 2nd Annual Florida Wing Battle, A Blazing Affair! and Dessert Battle, A Sweet Affair! The wing and dessert charity competition event takes place inside one of Boca’s historical landmarks to launch the first of our five 2023 scheduled affairs. All of these South Florida Events take place inside Sanborn Square Park, which is located south of Mizner Park along Federal Highway just north of Palmetto Park Road.

The Florida Wing Battle and the Dessert Battle invites Grill Master Chefs and Pastry Chefs throughout the State of Florida to Battle. We hand-pick the Best Chefs who are adventurous at creating the best wing recipe and best dessert recipe as preparations for the 2nd Annual Affair heats up.

Each hand-picked chef will create their grilling and dessert masterpieces and present them to a prestigious table of Grill Master and Dessert Master Judge’s which will include well known “wing conneseuirs” and “sweet treat freaks”. The Judges will determine which contender’s wings is deserving of 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Best Grill Master and 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Best Sweets Master awards while guests vote with their wooden chips for People’s Choice to hold the title as Best Florida Battle Wings and Best Florida Battle Desserts.

This South Florida charity event brings the community together to enjoy its “BBQ in the Park” theme and showcases some of the best wings in Florida and the best desserts in Florida. It also includes additional bites and an abundant of beverage choices including unlimited craft beers, fine wines and seasonal spirits tastings.

The Battle benefits Children’s Giving Foundation, a 501c3 Boca Raton nonprofit that supports Children’s Charities in South Florida.

The Florida Wing Battle and Florida Dessert Battle is sponsored by WineEvents.com and produced by BocaRaton.com & The BITES! Network, which also produces the Taco Battle every April, the Boca Burger Battle every July and the Boca Raton Wine and Food Festival every November.
